How to reduce pores on the face caused by pimples?

Acne is one of the most common skin problems experienced by adolescents, but it can occur at any age. To reduce facial pores, you have to kill bacteria that causes pimples and tighten the pore openings. When you suffer from pimples, the pores on your face will enlarge. Bacteria in combination with oil produce substances that irritate your skin and increase inflammation in your follicles, which decreases blood flow to the area and ultimately leads to acne breakouts. Here are some ways you can tighten pore openings:

  1. Rice Water

You have to wash your face with rice water. To make rice water:

  1. Place 1/4 cup of rice in 1 quart of purified water and let it soak overnight.
  2. Strain out the rice and bring the solution to a boil.
  3. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  4. Use this solution as your facial cleanser every day (overnight is best) until pores are visibly smaller.
  5. Continue doing this even after pore size returns to normal because you may relapse into acne again at some point due to lack of discipline or stress, which causes bacteria that lead to acne breakouts!
  1. Papaya

Papain (an enzyme found in unripe/raw papaya fruit) removes dead skin cells and unclogs pores by dissolving the sebum and keratin plug. You can buy it in powdered form or use fresh papaya to make a mask: Mash together 1/2 ripe papaya, one teaspoon honey, and egg white until you get a smooth paste. Apply on your face for 15 minutes, then rinse with warm water. Papain also contains antiviral enzymes that protect against viruses such as herpes simplex (which causes cold sores).

  1. Baking soda

This is one of the simplest ways to reduce pore sizes fast! Make a paste from baking soda and water and apply it to the skin daily or twice a day if you have huge pores trying to be tightened! Keep it up until your desired pore size has been achieved. Use this same paste to treat oily skin, blackheads, large pores, and acne!

  1. Orange Peels

A peel can be used to tighten the skin on your face by removing old skin cells. Soak orange peels in oil until they’re soft, then grind them into a fine powder using a mortar and pestle, or even use the rind directly for this. Rub the fruit pulp into your face to remove dead cells, then rinse with warm water afterward. You can also make a mask composed primarily of orange juice (or carrot juice) mixed with egg white for added benefits. Leave it on for 15 minutes before washing off with cool water or toning down your face with chamomile tea.

  1. Egg Whites

Egg whites contain a substance called ovatide, which can help tighten the skin and reduce the appearance of pores by absorbing excess oil from your face. Mix a raw egg white with a teaspoon of honey and gently apply it to your face without rubbing. When it dries, rinse off with warm water, then finish off by splashing cool water onto your face, or you can even use chamomile tea for this! This method is suitable no matter what skin type you have as long as you don’t have any allergies to eggs!

  1. Green Tea

Green Tea contains anti-bacterial properties that help cleanse your skin from harmful bacteria that cause acne breakouts keeping the bacteria from clogging your pores and allowing the skin to breathe and keep its natural moisture in. Plus, green tea is rich in antioxidants that fight free radicals that damage the collagen cells underneath the epidermis, preventing wrinkles. Brew some green tea, then use a cotton ball to gently apply it on your face several times a day (after washing) until you see results!

  1. Mint Leaves

Mint leaves can be used to tighten up your pores. Boil mint leaves in water for about ten minutes, microwave them for 2-3 minutes, or even leave them out overnight after boiling to make a minty solution. Once done, let this calm, and you can dip a cotton ball into it and wipe over the face with fresh mint water every morning, or you can even pour this into a bottle and use it as a toner.

  1. Burdock Root

Burdock is a great anti-inflammatory agent that helps soothe irritated skin and calm inflammation, as well as tightens the pores on your face! Boil some burdock roots in water for about six minutes, then strain out the root from the mixture. Dip a cotton ball into this solution and apply it to your face every morning after washing. You can also pour it into a bottle and use it as a toner afterward! This method may reduce pore size quickly over time without irritating, unlike other harsher treatments such as chemical peels which may leave burns! 8. Lemon Juice Lemon juice contains citric acid that helps to remove dead skin cells and tighten pores on your face. Add apple cider vinegar into equal parts of water, then apply on your face using a cotton ball. Be sure not to wash this off afterward, and you can apply it every morning on your face after washing for quick results!

  1. Almonds

Almond oil contains high levels of vitamin E, which help moisturize, reduce wrinkles and fine lines while also tightening pores, especially if the almond oil is cold-pressed (organic). Massage pure almond oil (without additives) into clean skin before going to bed at night; you can also do this every morning after waking up instead if you prefer. One thing to remember is that cold-pressed almond oil takes quite long before the skin absorbs it, so be patient and try to avoid applying too much as this might clog your pores even more than they were before!

  1. Red Tea

Red tea contains antioxidants that help reduce inflammation and cleanse the skin of any dirt or impurities. Topically apply cooled red tea onto your face using cotton balls every morning before applying makeup as the antioxidants will help maintain clean, clear skin over time! But remember not to drink red tea as this can cause more harm than good when ingested orally.

  1. Strawberry Juice

Well, known for its rich source of vitamin C, which helps improve collagen production for younger-looking skin, strawberries also contain a high amount of malic acid that removes dead cells from your face’s surface, leaving it smoother and firmer with a visible improvement in tone and texture – not to mention it tightens pores! Mash up some strawberries in a bowl with water to make strawberry juice, apply it on your face using cotton balls and leave for about 10 minutes before rinsing off.

  1. Glycerine Soap

Glycerine soap helps in removing excess oil from the skin without drying it out like other harsh cleansers might because glycerine is a humectant (moisture-retaining) that draws moisture into your skin! However, you can also use any other mild-quality soap – remember not to use fragranced soaps, which will dry out your skin anyway, so avoid these if you can. Wash your face twice daily after applying toner or makeup to remove dirt thoroughly, then rinse well with cool water!

  1. Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil contains antibacterial properties that help reduce acne-causing bacteria without drying out your skin. Dilute tea tree oil (made with 30% water) into equal parts of water, then dab the resulting mixture onto affected areas using cotton balls. Leave it on for 5-10 minutes before rinsing off.

  1. Honey

Honey is another humectant that helps moisturize skin. However, honey also contains anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce inflamed acne breakouts leaving you with clearer skin over time! Apply raw honey directly onto your face after washing or even use it as a toner by diluting raw honey in water with about half its amount. Although this may seem like an extreme option to get rid of enlarged pores, chemical peels are very effective.
